For dinner #5 we hit up another traditional Sardinian restaurant, Su Cumbidu. The restaurant's name literally translates to "l'invito", or you're invited - and we felt very welcomed from the moment we walked in the door.
The server asked us if we'd prefer to order from the menu or just enjoy plates that they'd bring out for us to try. We thought that sounded like the best way to try a bunch of different foods, so the jury opted for that - and I think their risk was rewarded. There were some snails to start...
Aurora sucking those snails out of their shells!
Bruschetta...
and LOADS of antipasti
The table was so full we could barely fit all the food
Checking out the bathrooms
and the bar
Outside and inside, the jury talked to a BUNCH of the other diners
Here are some high fives with a family from Norway
A few notes:
and last but not least... DOLCI.
We're halfway through Eat the Street in Cagliari! Tonight we'll be at Namaste, see you then.
