Simple breakfast

Breakfast is usually the simplest meal of the day, besides the taunting reality of getting out of bed and making it! Really, all it usually takes is a few ingredients and about ten minutes. Whether it's a cup of yogurt with berries and granola.  Eggs, bacon, and toast, or eggs benedict, it's usually no more than three principal ingredients. Of course I like to go over the edge because of my creative nature from time to time...

Provencal eggs, rustic buttered toast, and charred tomatoes

Using "rustic style" bread adds a nice artisanal look to any breakfast
2 min in toaster. 1 min in the oven @400f  with 2 slabs of butter

?

Vine ripened tomatoes are best suited for a breakfast, so keep on the look out.
5-7 min in a sautee pan until charred

I've never liked overly runny yolks or uncooked egg whites on my sunny side eggs, so I finish my eggs in the oven for even cooking. 3-4 min in a buttered non-stick on medium heat, then in an oven @400f  for 3-4min

Parsley, tarragon, and scallions go great with eggs and tomatoes

There you have it! A healthy and amazing breakfast for yourself or a loved one. Bon Appetit!!
