This Saturday night, we went with the kids to the schmancy Hotel Saskatchewan for some supa fine-dining. It was all we expected and more... from break dancing to duck eating to elevator escapades to eating butter off the knife.
Here they are at Arcola, getting ready to head out..
there was a fashion show
Zach did some break-dancing
and there was some madness on the stairs
we arrived downtown...
and here they are
valet, anyone?
fancy lobby
Milton, who came to the class on Wednesday, gave us a tour of the kitchen
and then... we sat down to dine.
food waits were of course filled with hotel explorations
the bathrooms!
the lights!
ahhh main courses... a lot of steaks were ordered, with a lot of lobster ravioli
and one lamb... baaaaaaaaaa
our dear Dora, taking orders for dessert
then, more decor to explore
and more table chaos... like some special-guest ghosts
what are you doing Stephen?
and AJ?
the jelly-balls in the vases were a big hit
and at last, we had dessert... which included some hot pudding
some cookies and cream cheesecake
and some chocolate mousse cake... mmmmmmmmmm
time to say good-bye
but really, who wants to leave this place? Especially when "this is the most comfortable couch ever... seriously, it feels like water when you sit on it"
ok, for real now... 'later Hamid
